Daily Affirmations app · Last updated 14 October 2026
This policy explains how the Daily Affirmations app for iPhone (“the app”) handles your information. In short: we don't collect personal data, we don't track you and there are no third-party ads.
No account, no tracking
The app doesn't ask for your name, email or any other personal details, and you never need an account. It contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking, and it doesn't use your data to follow you across other apps or websites.
What stays on your device
To work, the app saves a few things on your iPhone:
- your favorite affirmations and which ones you've already seen
- your daily activity, used to show your streak
- your settings, such as your reminder time
Our widgets read this same data on your device to show your affirmation and streak. We never receive any of it.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, the app keeps your favorites and activity in sync across your devices using Apple's iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and is not accessible to us. See the Apple Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Premium is bought through the App Store, so Apple handles all payments. We never see your name, email or payment details.
To check which purchases you've made and unlock Premium, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase history and basic technical information such as your device type, app version and country. It isn't linked to your identity and isn't used for tracking or advertising. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules your daily reminder on your iPhone. If you start a free trial, it may also remind you shortly before the trial ends. These reminders are created on your device, not sent from a server. You can change or turn them off anytime in the app or in iOS Settings.
Sharing
When you share an affirmation, the app creates an image of the card and opens the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is up to you, and the app you share to handles it under its own policy.
Ratings
The app may occasionally ask you to rate it using Apple's standard rating prompt. Your rating and review go to Apple, not to us.
Children
The app doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone. To remove synced data from iCloud too, go to Settings, tap your name, then iCloud and Manage Storage, and delete the Daily Affirmations data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Since we don't hold personal data from the app, there's usually nothing to request, but you're always welcome to ask.
